Emergency Medical Responder
Course Description: This course will teach you the basics of good patient care and the skills you will need to deliver appropriate care to the victim of an accident or sudden illness until more highly trained emergency personal arrive. Emergency Medical Responder’s actions can mean the difference between life and death.
- Treating basic medical emergency
- Controlling airway, breathing, circulation
- Control external bleeding
- Treating shock
- Treating minor injuries
- Splinting injuries to stabilize extremities
Course Length: 48 hours
Class will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm – 10pm and every other Saturday from 9am -5pm.
Monday, March 20th, 6pm – 10pm
Wednesday, March 22nd, 6pm – 10pm
Saturday, March 25th, 9am – 5pm
Monday, March 27th, 6pm – 10pm
Wednesday, March 29th, 6pm – 10pm
Monday, April 3rd, 6pm – 10pm
Wednesday, April 5th, 6pm – 10pm
Saturday, April 8th, 9am – 5pm
Monday, April 10th, 6pm – 10pm
Wednesday, April 12th, 6pm – 10pm
