Course Description: This course will teach you the basics of good patient care and the skills you will need to deliver appropriate care to the victim of an accident or sudden illness until more highly trained emergency personal arrive. Emergency Medical Responder’s actions can mean the difference between life and death.
- Treating basic medical emergency
- Controlling airway, breathing, circulation
- Control external bleeding
- Treating shock
- Treating minor injuries
- Splinting injuries to stabilize extremities
Course Length: 48 hours
Class will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm – 10pm.
